Our Story: 5 Decades of Trading
The story of KPI is the story of perseverance. Since 1969, founder Kyriakos P. Ioannou has been flying across the globe with a simple task at hand: approach, promote, secure.
Starting his first business during precarious times in now Turkish-occupied Famagusta, Kyriakos envisioned the growth of his family's prospects by connecting with people across meeting rooms and securing long-term partnerships. Trading everything from household electrical appliances and catering equipment to earth-moving and construction machinery, over the past five decades the KPI name became synonymous with good business.
KPI Aero is the continuation of K.P. Ioannou Ltd, carrying a legacy of 53 years in the trade and 23 years in aviation. Today, the KPI business and family have headquartered in Nicosia, having both expanded to include the next generation of go-getters.
